About the Weight Loss Mind Coach

After a long career in Financial Services, Fiona decided to follow her natural instincts as a pragmatic problem solver with a keen interest in people, and retrain, initially as a Hypnotherapist.

Soon after setting up in practice, Fiona realised that the areas of anxiety and weight loss were of particular interest and so she continued further master-class training in these areas.

Having been diagnosed with high cholesterol, Fiona had to alter her eating habits accordingly.  A self-confessed chocoholic, Fiona really had to have a major overhaul of her eating habits

Fiona has a real understanding of having to balance eating whilst facing the pressures of being a modern day working mum where there are never enough hours in the day. She believes passionately in practicing what she preaches and maintains a healthy balance to her eating and consequently a stable weight.

Fiona has continued her professional development since first qualifying as a Clinical Hypnotherapist in 2007. She is now holds a Senior Qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice with the General Hypnotherapy Register and has developed her skills in the areas of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy with the esteemed Dr David Kato – president of the CBT Association for Hypnotherapists.  She is also a member of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council.

Weight loss continues to be an area of particular interest and expertise and Fiona has trained extensively, and continues to work closely, with Steve Miller from the popular TV series “Fat Families”.
